Ravens to sign Earl Thomas, Mark Ingram

Meanwhile, running back Ingram has reportedly agreed a three-year deal worth $15m.

Ingram is joining the most run-heavy team in the NFL.

If signed, Ingram would give the Packers a strong and deep stable of running backs capable of handling the workload expected of Matt LaFleur's new offense.

- Former Minnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray intends to sign a four-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting.

He has a 10-5 career postseason record, the most postseason road wins in National Football League history and during the 2012 season, he led the Ravens on a 4-0 postseason run in which he threw 11 touchdowns and no interceptions.

In all likelihood, that will end Mark Ingram's tenure in New Orleans after eight seasons. For his career, he's rushed 3,698 yards and 883 yards receiving for a combined 34 touchdowns.

The Ravens had never even been connected to Thomas, the 29-year-old former member of the Seattle Seahawks who was the creme of a very deep safety crop, during the walk up to free agency. He finished with 645 yards in 2018, averaging 4.7 yards per carry, after missing the first four games of the year due to a suspension. As a senior in 2012, he racked up 1,106 yards on 198 attempts with 15 touchdowns, as he was named first-team All-Conference USA and became the first player in UCF history to rush for a touchdown in nine straight games. You have to take the good with the bad when you have a mobile quarterback like Jackson, as he should help you get a bit more yardage, but he's going to drain you where it counts - the goal line.
