'Majority of Madrid players have delivered, some have not' - Solari

It was a awful week for Solari and Madrid, who lost three consecutive home matches against Barca and Ajax.

A 3-0 Copa del Rey second-leg defeat to Barcelona, which saw them exit at the semi-final stage, was followed by a 1-0 Clasico loss in LaLiga that has left Madrid 12 points behind the leaders with 12 games to go.

After arriving more than an hour late for his scheduled press conference at Madrid's training ground on Saturday, when asked if he can hypothetically plan for next season, Solari replied: "I can't answer hypothetical questions. The concentration is on the next match and the commitment is the absolute maximum, always, because it is an honour to serve this club".

Zinedine Zidane is another who has been linked with a return to the Santiago Bernabeu, with a decision having already been made by the Madrid board that Solari will not be in charge for the new season.

"I'm going to give my best, as I have done since the first day I came here".

"The only objective we work towards is the next game".

Real Valladolid: This team's only goal is to avoid relegation, and sitting just three points clear is far from a comfortable position to be in. Former Real Madrid president Ramón Calderón told beIN Sport: "90% sure that Mourinho will be back at Madrid".

"The majority [of players] have delivered as expected, some have not, and I have told them so personally", Solari said.

Isco was not even included in the squad to face Ajax and refused to travel on the team bus.

Solari also suffered back to back defeats to their arch rivals within four days in two different tourneys - hence the major reason the Spaniard could be sacked at the end of this term.

As well as the uncertainty regarding Solari's future, Goal understands that Sergio Ramos's future is up the air following a row with Florentino Perez after the defeat to Ajax.

"We have talked and he will travel", Solari said.
