Kelly: 'We're going to straighten all this stuff out'

Defiant R&B singer R. Kelly walked out of a Chicago jail for the second time in two weeks on Saturday after paying off the $161,000 in child support he owed his ex-wife.

The singer, born Robert Sylvester Kelly, exited the Cook County Department of Corrections three days after being jailed for unpaid child support owed to his ex-wife.

The singer, who is facing several sexual misconduct and abuse lawsuits, sat down for an explosive interview on CBS earlier this week - in which he continued to deny allegations that have been made against him.

Kelly bailed out of jail on the sexual assault charges on February 25 and had since complained of financial difficulties, saying in an interview with CBS that "so many people" had access to his bank account and had stolen from him.

Wearing a bright red jacket, bluejeans and the cuff of his blue dress shirt peeking out from a gray hooded sweatshirt, Kelly briskly walked out of the jail shortly before noon Saturday after three nights in custody.

Cook County sheriff's spokeswoman Sophia Ansari says someone made the $161,000 payment on Saturday morning, but she didn't know who.

The news came three days after a judge ordered Kelly jailed until he paid the total amount he owed by that date.

"I promise you, we're going to straighten all this stuff out", Kelly said. Genson said. "I don't think he's done anything inappropriate for years".

R. Kelly was married to Drea - once his back-up dancer - for 13 years.

"How can I pay child support?" asked R. Kelly during his dramatic interview with Gayle King.

Last month, the embattled musician was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, some involving underage victims, following years of allegations of sexual abuse from women and underage girls. Kelly's attorney, Steve Greenberg, recently said Kelly has been struggling financially. In 2008, the singer was tried on child pornography charges and found not guilty. How can I take care of my kids? "[But] they're pressured [not to see him], and I get it".
