Anthony Davis says the Celtics are on his list

Davis kept his left arm still as he walked to the locker room shortly after fouling Noel on an attempted shot block with his left hand.

The highlights, as would be expected, were absurdly good, time and again.

What's going on with Anthony Davis' list?

Davis seemed unmoved by the decision to fire Dell Demps, the GM who couldn't build a consistent victor in Davis' six-plus seasons in New Orleans. Or where he'll play the season after that, either.

At All-Star media day, he also had some answers. Playing in New York, Boston, and Los Angeles have been Davis's top priority. No, he didn't eliminate Boston from the list of cities where he would consider playing. "We're a different player in a lot of areas of the game, but I'm glad to be here to be able to learn from him and pick up a lot of those things that he has perfected throughout his career". I still have a ways to go to get to that level. "That's what I'm trying to do".

Team LeBron, down by 20 in the second half, finally got firing and went on to beat Team Giannis 178-164 in the All-Star Game on Sunday night.

But when Team LeBron used a flurry of 3s to get back into it in the third quarter, everyone on the bench was standing - sometimes running from the bench and onto the court during play, the celebrations a bit more exuberant than what's usually allowed.

This is contradictory of a report from three days before the NBA Trade Deadline, where Davis' list included the Lakers, Knicks and a number of other teams, but the Celtics were not on it.

"I never said [the Celtics were] not on my list", he repeated twice more on Saturday.

As for the reserves, it'll be LaMarcus Aldridge, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson, Ben Simmons, Bradley Beal, Karl-Anthony Towns and Dwyane Wade for Team LeBron. Anybody who is a parent would understand him standing up for his son and wanting him to be in a better situation. I think it's time to ignore Davis and Rich Paul until late June.

It was a suggestion emailed from a fan to National Basketball Association commissioner Adam Silver that led to two National Basketball Association greats, Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki and Miami's Dwyane Wade, being added to the rosters for the 2019 All-Star Game. Nowitzki is in his 21st season, all with the Mavericks, and hasn't officially said he's retiring.

"I've enjoyed the last few weeks", he said. This is great to be here.

"This could be the last time I'm on this stage".

Giannis threw everything he had at the game but couldn't stop the momentum Team LeBron produced as they stormed to the win. While there have still been rookies involved in the All-Star discussion - namely Donovan Mitchell and Luka Doncic the past two seasons - Griffin said that sometimes those players are the victims of a numbers game more than anything else.

This All-Star Game opened with the level of defensive intensity we have come to expect in All-Star Games. See if it happens.

Walker is part of Team Giannis, selected by Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo (YAH'-nihs an-teh-toh-KAHM'-poh).

"I love it", he said.
