Anthem Post-Launch and Endgame Content Revealed

Check out the image below to see confirmation that the first "event" will be called Echoes of Reality, and will be available in March!

After Anthem's release on 22nd February, BioWare aren't just going to kick back with a cup of tea and a biscuit to celebrate a job well done, they'll be diving straight into the first season, or act of post-launch content. Said updates will start with "Evolving World", followed by "Stronger Together", and finally "The Cataclysm".

The studio not only provided a look at Anthem endgame content, but posted a complete breakdown which we've added below. They are seasonal activities, not one-shot endgame missions.

Anthem's marketing team and development heads have been very vocal on social media about the game's promise and its problems, but one recurring theme is that they're in for the long haul and will have lots and lots to bring to the experience in the months (and years?) ahead. Once you reach Anthem's endgame content, you can grab new gear in a variety of ways. Anthem's instructional spreadsheet shown below was released towards the end of January and broke down how people can play the game either at its full release or at an earlier date.

Rarer gear can be acquired by tackling missions at harder difficulties, which run the spectrum from Easy to Normal, Hard, Grand Master, Grand Master 2, and Grand Master 3. The last three tiers are unlocked when you reach Pilot Level 30. Different endgame objectives will reward the player with crafting blueprints for gear and personalization items.

EA said that new missions, characters, and stories will be introduced over "the weeks and months to come", some of them small and others world-changing: The "most ambitious and challenging" new content will come in the form of Cataclysms, "time-limited world events that cause physical manifestations to occur: Extreme weather, incursions of unsafe hostile enemies, and new mysteries to solve". Improving your reputation with different groups will give you access to crafting blueprints.
