President Donald Trump was declared "in very good health" by the White House physician on Friday after four hours of examinations in what amounted to a test of whether his doctor's order that he follow a healthier diet has paid dividends.

Trump was seen by a "panel of 11 different board certified specialists", Dr. Sean P. Conley wrote in a brief memo released by the White House.

Trump loves the more sedate game of golf, but rides a cart between holes and has said that anything more strenuous is actually bad for your health. With the White House kitchen too understaffed to cater a meal, Trump stepped in: He ordered burgers, french fries and pizza.

Not for Trump the basketball sessions that Barack Obama sweated through in the White House, or the bike rides of George W Bush.

This is Trump's second health checkup since becoming president.

Modern-day presidents have undergone regular exams to catch any potential problems but also to assure the public that they are fit for office, something Trump's doctor previous year took to an extraordinary level. He said Trump's blood pressure was 122 over 74, and his total cholesterol was 223, which was higher than recommended.

Jackson withdrew his name from consideration for the post in April amid accusations of ethical misconduct, including that he recklessly prescribed drugs and wrecked a government vehicle.

Jackson past year said Trump would undergo a colonoscopy in 2019. Doctors checked his eyes, ears, nose and throat, heart, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, skin, and teeth.

Close to a dozen White House officials and insiders told CNN ahead of the exam that they do not think Trump has stepped into the White House residence fitness room.
