
Hollywood's biggest night, the Oscars ceremonies, will not feature an official host guiding the event this year, according to the president of ABC Entertainment which will broadcast the Academy Awards on February 24.
Round one voting ends on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. PT.
The 91st Academy Awards will take place on Feb 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Comedian Kevin Hart in December stepped down from hosting the Oscars, the film industry's most prestigious awards, after past homophobic tweets resurfaced.
Despite the unconventional setup this year, Academy CEO Dawn Hudson called it an "important moment in Oscar history". To help honor the incredible slate of Oscars 2019 nominees-from blockbusters to independent films-and embrace the diversity of the global movie-going audience, 13 stars were added to the list of presenters. "We all got on board with that idea pretty quickly", Burke told reporters at the Television Critics Association meeting in the Los Angeles suburb of Pasadena.
It marks the first time the ceremony will be without a host since 1989.

Burke said she would hear details from the show producers later this week but said there were plans for "a pretty exciting opening" to the telecast.
The nominees took part in the annual Oscars luncheon and group photo on Monday.
"The Oscars is the most-watched live entertainment event of the year", said Academy president John Bailey. "It's really compelling. People really care".
"I think we are going to see a big turnout for this because these are big popular movies that have been nominated", she said.
