Captain Marvel drops new teaser during the Super Bowl

In amongst all the excitement of the new Avengers 4: Endgame trailer that dropped last night, it felt like something was missing.

The likes of Spiderman, Black Panther and The Guardians of the Galaxy were all featured in the memorial clips after being killed off by Avengers' baddie, Thanos, during the last scenes of Infinity War. Marvel previously used such digital trickery by editing Spider-Man out of the airport showdown in the Captain America: Civil War Super Bowl spot.

The trailer begins by showing the apocalyptic skyline of New York City and slowly reveals a support group for those left behind. It was created by Marvel franchise fan Jacob Eriksson.

Considering trailers and teasers for Infinity War were constructed exclusively for advertising purposes and not actually in the film, Marvel Studios may have digitally erased someone in that scene to not spoil a surprise.

There is a short scene where numerous Avengers, with Captain America in the foreground, are looking up at something in the sky.

Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.

Also, the new spot led to many speculations over one of the scenes.

We already have a good idea of who survived Thanos' snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, but some characters' survival are unknown. The footage opens on Carol and her best friend and fellow pilot Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch) walking along a tarmac at a U.S. Air Force base.

Captain Marvel will be released on March 8, 2019. Could it be Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.)? This trailer has many people anxious about if or when this will happen. What are your thoughts and theories? Let us know your opinions in the comments section below.
