Fans Think Marvel Edited Someone Out of the New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer

Fans Think Marvel Edited Someone Out of the New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer

The Independent reports that fans believe certain characters have been edited out of the latest promo for the fourth Avengers outing, which dropped during the Super Bowl this weekend. This really isn't a surprise, but the first trailer didn't show the Avengers working together, but instead appeared to be operating in small teams. No, not those who were snapped away in Avengers: Infinity War - though their absence was keenly felt - but another person entirely. The 30 seconds teaser begins with shots of deserted NY landmarks.

"Some people move on, but not us", Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) says and we then see our troupe of heroes preparing for battle, including Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) who we missed in Avengers: Infinity War. Directed by Russo brothers, Avengers: Endgame also stars Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Brie Larson, Don Cheadle and Paul Rudd among others.

Based on how intensely they're sparring (or, y'know, just straight up fighting) in this scene, we can imagine that that particular dichotomy causes some real tension between the two of them. While below them Captain Marvel along with other team members is seen walking with a ideal attitude.

Many fans of the Avengers series took to Twitter to discuss the new teaser trailer.

Box office analysts (via CNBC) predicted in December that Avengers: Endgame could earn upwards of $600 million domestic and $2 billion worldwide.

Marvel has previously said that the trailers wouldn't show anything aside from the first 30 minutes or so of the movie.
