Samsung finally launched phones with notches, but didn't copy Apple's design

For now, they are launching just two options, the M20 and M10.

Regardless of who releases their device first, odds are they're too expensive for many to own one. The infinity-v display is essentially Samsung's take on the waterdrop notch which allows it to provide an overall larger screen-estate to the users. The bezels are significantly thinner than their previous Galaxy J models but there's still a noticeable chin at the bottom.

Galaxy M20 is powered by Samsung's latest Exynos 7904 octa-core processor that enhances user experience through excellent network speed, smooth multitasking and low power consumption.

The smartphone will feature 2/3 GB of RAM with 16/32 GB of internal storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot for additional storage expansion. It has the same dual-camera setup as on the Galaxy M10 on the rear while the front camera has been bumped up to accommodate an 8MP (f/2.0) sensor.

Internally, both Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 come with Samsung's own Exynos chipsets.

Galaxy M20 comes with fingerprint as well as Face Unlock features to enhance consumers' security. Also included is a 15W charger which claims to push 3 hours of video or 11 hours of music playback with a quick 10-minute charge. The phone is shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Samsung Galaxy M20 is also said to be come in 3GB of RAM/32GB internal storage and 4GB of RAM/64GB of internal storage options.

Samsung says that the M10 uses a 6.2-inch HD+ display, so we can expect a knock to resolution there. It comes with either 2GB RAM + 16GB storage or 3GB RAM + 32GB storage which are also expandable via microSD. The secondary rear camera has a 5MP ultra-wide feature. Unlike the M20, the M10 doesn't come with a fingerprint sensor, but it still has support for face unlock. Similar to the M20, it still runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience v9.5 skin on top.

The Samsung Galaxy M10's base 2GB RAM variant has been priced at Rs 7,990, while the 3GB RAM variant costs Rs 8,990.

As part of a launch offer by Jio, buyers of new Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 phones would be entitled to double-data offer on Jio 4G. The company is most likely to launch the Samsung Galaxy M10, Samsung Galaxy M20, and the Samsung Galaxy M30 smartphones, and catch the live streaming of the launch event on GizBot. Both Galaxy M20 and M10 sport dual rear camera, with ultra-wide feature. Pricing for the M20 will be INR 10,990 for 3/32GB, INR 12,990 for 4/64GB.
