Rams turn to running game

The Rams had won only one postseason game since their last trip to the Super Bowl in February 2002, but 32-year-old coach Sean McVay has added his first playoff victory to his spectacular two-season franchise turnaround.

The last round of the Dallas Cowboys fight in 2018 came at the hands of a hungry Los Angeles Rams team, ending their season in the Divisional Round behind 273 rushing yards. To make the night more special, members of the Los Angeles Lakers were sitting on the sidelines cheering for Rams. "They did a great job of just winning the battle up front".

"It was incredible what they did today", Goff said of the Rams' running backs. Jason Garrett, the Cowboys coach for the better part of a decade (since 2011) was understandably overpowered by a well-coached Rams team. The Cowboys delivered in the fourth quarter with Ezekiel Elliott's go-ahead touchdown and Dak Prescott's score on the ground to sneak past Seattle.

Not only was Center Joe Looney beat on the play, but Collins lost leverage and was beat across the face to further clutter the middle of the field for Elliott to be stopped short. Despite producing back-to-back division titles for the first time in almost four decades, both coach and quarterback knew the results that mattered most, were those posted in the playoffs.

The Los Angeles Lakers' star claims to be a big Dallas Cowboys fan.
