Marvel's "The Punisher" Season 2 Trailer Is Here

Marvel's

Guess we'll have to wait and see if this is really the end after The Punisher season 2 debuts on Netflix in a week on 18 January.

Now under a week away from the release of The Punisher Season Two, Netflix has taken to social media to release new stills from Steve Lightfoot-run show. The Punisher Season 2 is basically the heavy-metal version of that character conflict. Even though he's on the right side of these various conflicts, you kind of want someone to check Frank Castle's unstoppable macho killing spree. Only this time, it is not personal - exactly. Frank being Frank, he steps in, automatically making himself an enemy of the same forces after the girl.

It's soon uncovered that Bendix suffered a similar tragedy as Castle - whose family was, of course, brutally slaughtered - as she tells him, "They killed everybody I've ever cared about. I had to get involved". Daredevil star Deborah Ann Woll will also be back as Karen Page, although she doesn't turn up in the trailer. He may not be Jigsaw, yet. But Castle won't go down without a fight, as suggested by the various shots of violent, gun-happy action scenes spewed throughout the trailer. "I'm not the one who dies, kid". Once that happens, we'll only have Season 3 of Jessica Jones to look forward to.

"The Punisher Season Two is, without a doubt, Marvel Netflix's best sophomore season yet, narrowly edging out the deep crime drama of Luke Cage Season Two". After that, it may find itself on Disney+, the House of Mouse's upcoming streaming service, or disappear into oblivion.
