Aaliyah's Mother Slams Claims R. Kelly Had Sex With Singer

After much hype and speculation, the first two episodes of docu-series Surviving R. Kelly finally premiered on Lifetime Thursday night.

But the highly anticipated and deeply sourced docuseries, "Surviving R. Kelly", which debuted Thursday night, all but confirmed the most disgusting suspicions about him and his apparent predilection for seducing and controlling girls and young women. Lifetime interacted with over 50 people including his family and accomplices as well as victims involved in his alleged sexual exploitations.

Legend took to Twitter to react to people praising him for his involvement, brushing off the compliments and referring to his participation as an "easy decision".

A six-hour documentary series airing this weekend has brought American R&B star R Kelly back into the spotlight, revisiting accusations of criminal misconduct including having sex with several minors.

Who is Sparkle from Surviving R Kelly? The documentary will feature interviews with women who have declared that R.Kelly has sexual, physically, and mentally abused them.

"I wouldn't hear from him for days, and he would come back and it was just sex and abuse", she recalled. "I don't think he understands girls that are young how impressionable we are and how traumatic these experiences are".

The first chapter of Surviving R. Kelly aired last night. I believe these women ... Bruce gave his interview from the Cook County Jail in Chicago, where he's now serving time - and that has viewers questioning why R. Kelly's brother is locked up.

Past year several women came forward claiming Kelly had been running a sex cult, and in May a woman filed a lawsuit against him claiming that he had treated her like a sex slave.

Ahead of the show's premiere, Kelly's lawyer, Brian Nix, sent a legal warning to Lifetime threatening to sue the network if they didn't pull the docuseries, TMZ reports.
