Dad Catches Every Flight To be With His Flight-Attendant Daughter

Pierce Vaughan, a flight attendant for Delta Airlines, had to work from December 24 to 25, so her father, Hal, bought tickets on six flights just so he could be right there beside her.

An absolute sweetheart of a father made a decision to book flights all across the U.S. so that he could spend Christmas with his daughter.

Mike Levy, from OH, was travelling on the same flight as the father-daughter duo.

But thanks to her employee benefits, her dad was able to join her on flights both days, even finding a seat in first class from Florida to Detroit, which Pierce called a Christmas miracle.

Vaughan wrote on her own Facebook that her dad completed six flights total.

It was later confirmed by Pierce herself, who revealed that the reunion in the sky had been a success, even though her father had serious trouble catching some of his flights.

But for Pierce Vaughan, having her father fly with her was a milestone celebration.

Pierce Vaughan has always spent the holidays with her family, even when she graduated from the University of MS and spent a year in Australia.

Beneath the post, Pierce's mother Kimberly Vaughan told Levy that Hal "said hello" and that it was a pleasure meeting him.

Levy said he had "never heard of anyone doing that before", and asked if he could take a picture of the two of them and share it on Facebook. "I just felt bad thinking about her spending her first Christmas alone, even though she's 25".

On Christmas Day, Pierce Vaughn shared Levy's photos on Facebook and added a few details about her dad's flights.

Levy's Facebook post has since trended online, with many comments calling the story awesome, sweet, and wonderful. "Shoutout to Mike Levy for being a great first class passenger and helping us to understand how cool this actually is!" "That's wonderful! What a great dad", said another.
