Tom Brady ties Peyton Manning's all-time, all-games touchdown record

Brady reached 1,000 yards rushing for his career in Sunday's 24-10 win over Minnesota.

The Vikings didn't sack Brady once Sunday, just the second game this season they haven't gotten to a quarterback.

"Run Tommy, run", Brady captioned the action shot, followed by a picture from immediately after the milestone play: "The end zone is that way!"

Noted clydesdale Brady reached the long-awaited 1,000 rushing yard mark in the first quarter against the Vikings on Sunday.

"Obviously, I'm not a scrambler". They blocked their tails off today against a good front.

"I don't want to make too much of a four- or five-yard gain".

It was a quarterback question, but it had nothing to do with any of the 32 passes thrown by Tom Brady during the game.

Bill Belichick couldn't wait to heap effusive praise on Brady for the hard-earned benchmark.

"Yeah, that's really important to us", Belichick deadpanned. "That's it. I'm out". I'm out! Time to ride off into the sunset.

"I think that's what's great about this offense", running back Rex Burkhead said after returning from an eight-game absence due to a neck injury.

Entering the day, he had accumulated 995 yards on 577 rushes for an average of 1.7 yards per carry.

In his 264th career game, Brady surpassed the mark with a 5-yard scramble for a first down on a third-and-3 play in the first quarter against the Minnesota Vikings.

It was Brady's 508th regular-season touchdown pass - tied for third on the career list with Brett Favre behind Manning's 539.
