Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas criticised by PETA for animal abuse

The last few days have seen our social media feeds flooded with happy pictures from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' mehendi and sangeet ceremonies.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, sent their fans into a whirl of excitement.

People magazine said the ceremony was officiated by Jonas's father Paul Kevin Jonas. This was followed by a Hindu ceremony on Sunday.

The couple became engaged four months ago after a whirlwind romance.

From the bride's side, all her close friends and family members, including mother Madhu Chopra, brother Siddharth and cousins Parineeti and Mannara, were present at the ceremony.

"Nick did a attractive job following the customs of a Hindu ceremony, it was lovely seeing how they honoured both of their heritages", the source added. Jonas and Chopra's wedding has undoubtedly one of the biggest and most hyped events of the year and why not, it's wonderful to see how beautifully the two have amalgamated despite their different cultural backgrounds.

The post by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) was backed by a video titled "Band, Baaja, Brutality", and showcased what horses go through when they are used at weddings. It is an awesome start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends. Not for others but if Priyanka doing it is not just right because she recently campaigned against burning crackers on Diwali quoting her asthma and her dog being scared.

The cute pictures of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have brought a smile on everyone's faces.

For three days, nearly all of the social media platforms were flooded with the pictures and photos from Priyanka and Nick's wedding.
