Ariana Grande's new video is finally here, 'Thank U' very much

The YouTube docuseries focuses nearly entirely on Grande's music and career and not her personal life, though manager Scooter Braun did make headlines the same day it was released by defending the singer's ex-fiancé Pete Davidson as a "good dude".

We already know that the video will be based on everyone's favourite noughties teen movies, including Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, Bring It On and 13 Going On 30.

The just-over-five-minute clip was finally released on Friday, Nov. 30 after weeks of teasing by Grande, and after one view, it's clear the video more than lived up to the hype.

As the 25-year-old croons "Even nearly got married, and for Pete I'm so thankful", Grande croons, she also writes "sry I dipped".

With her back to the camera, Grande can be seen wearing a strapless white wedding gown and veil while being accompanied by her three best friends, who are dressed as bridesmaids in pink.

Scene-stealer: Kris Jenner makes a cameo as the "cool mom" character played by Amy Poehler in the original "Mean Girls" film. Grande whipping her ponytail on the elliptical à la Elle Woods and the adorable toothbrushing scene from Bring It On with former Victorious castmate Matt Bennett.

The docu-series gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life on the Dangerous Woman world tour. "I think of Manchester constantly and will carry this with me every day for the rest of my life". Perhaps no one was more impatient than the pop star herself - she actually tweeted Vevo and YouTube asking them to premiere it early - though Arianators were admittedly restless themselves.

"When something so opposite and so poisonous takes place in your world that is supposed to be everything but that ... it is shocking and heartbreaking in a way that seems impossible to fully recover from", she continued. To continue during the scariest and saddest of times.

"The people of Manchester were able to change an event that portrayed the worst of humanity into one that portrayed the most lovely of humanity", she added.
