Ruth Bader Ginsburg released from hospital after fracturing three ribs in fall

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was released from the hospital Friday after being admitted Thursday for fracturing three ribs in a fall, the Supreme Court said.

Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg shared the news of the 85-year-old's release, telling USA Today that Bader Ginsburg "is doing well and plans to work from home today".

The justice's nephew Daniel Stiepleman told Reuters Thursday night at the premiere of "On the Basis of Sex", a movie about Justice Ginsburg's early career, his aunt was "doing great". She initially went home but later checked into George Washington Hospital after some discomfort.

In addition to just being an all-out inspiration of a human being, Ginsburg is an important component of the Supreme Court's liberal minority. "I hope she gets better and I hope she serves on the Supreme Court for many, many years", Trump said.

Ginsburg is 85 years old, so obviously we're going to be anxious about her. Ginsburg later apologized for commenting on a candidate for public office and said her remarks were "ill advised".

Mind you. RBG is a cancer survivor, she's had a heart procedure and she's had broken ribs before. and she's bounced back so quickly she was never out of the game.
