Rivers, Gordon leads Chargers past Seahawks 25-17

Last Sunday versus the Chargers, things couldn't have been more different as Wilson put together one of his worst games of the season. Over the last four games, the Chargers have given up 10, 14, 19 and 17 points.

With less than nine minutes to play Sunday at CenturyLink Field, the Seattle Seahawks defensive end beat his man off of the edge, and dropped the Chargers quarterback.

The Seahawks finished with 154 yards rushing, but starter Chris Carson didn't play the final 2 ½ quarters due to a lingering hip injury.

Eight plays went for more than 20, including a game-long 54-yard pass Keenan Allen hauled in early in the second quarter.

"We can't allow the big plays, all of the explosive plays", Clark said. "We didn't show up and show out at the end of the day and that's what you've got to do in this league".

The Seahawks have reached the midway point of a season that started with a two-week dip into the nether regions of the National Football League standings, rebounded with four wins in the span of five games, and now has been cast into doubt following a loss to the Chargers.

McDougald didn't play in the second half with a knee injury that Carroll said was "pretty sore" on Monday.
