Deepika Padukone belongs to South India and Ranveer is a Sindhi-Punjabi, and therefore the 2 have made a decision to follow customs by both communities. Recent reports claim that on November 14, the wedding will happen as per Kannadiga customs and rituals.

One Twitter user pokes fun at the couple's portfolio of endorsements, writing, "It's not only #RanveerWeds Deepika, it's also GoIbibo weds MakeMyTrip, Asian Paints weds Nerolac, Special K weds Chings Chinese, and Oppo weds Vivo (sic)". Well, during the weekend, social media was abuzz with posts on the much talked about impending nuptials of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. These include Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditya Chopra. This will be followed by an intimate party on November 15. Arjun Kapoor too is expected to be present at the wedding. On their return to Mumbai, they will throw a grand reception inviting all their industry friends.

It may be recalled that the couple will Wednesday at the picturesque Villa del Balbianello at Lake Como. Deepika's trousseau will be designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee while it is still unclear what Ranveer will wear.
