Adobe announces next generation of Creative Cloud

Photoshop CC for iPad will display Photoshop's familiar vertical toolbar but in a "re-imagined" interface designed for touchscreen devices.

A brand new, app from Adobe now available just for online video creators.

Premiere Rush CC supports cloud sync so you can work on the same project on an iPhone or an iPad and continue on a Mac.

Adobe has introduced a version of its photo editor Photoshop CC for iPad and app for artists Gemini. Adobe has been on a multi-year journey to modernize its dominant creative media software, after shifting all of its apps to the cloud in 2012.

As for Project Gemini, it's a new app created to aid drawing and painting workflows.

Adobe Premiere Rush combines features of Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition to make a powerful software which can do video-editing, motion graphics, audio mixing and pretty much everything a typical user requires. Premiere Rush allows users to edit, colour correct and add motion graphics more quickly and easily when compared to the standard version of Premiere, according to Adobe. Along with Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro is one of the biggest and best video editing tools available. It has reduced the need for a desktop to perform editing on Photoshop.

Project Gemini isn't available yet, however, Adobe is looking for beta testers and professional illustrators to test the app.

Adobe is known for its annual product updates, and each update comes with new features. Premiere Rush CC is meant to make videos that content creators can straightforwardly export to major social networks such as YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, or Twitter. On a monthly basis, the application costs $9.99 for individuals, $19.99 for teams, and $29.99 for enterprise customers.

A free starter plan allows users to access all of the features Premiere Rush CC, including the iOS and desktop apps, along with the ability to create an unlimited number of projects.

It's going to start with the iPad, but Adobe is planning to include other operating systems and computing devices as soon as the technology is ready.

Adobe Premiere Rush has its own subscription plan and is also included with a Creative Cloud subscription for Adobe Premiere Pro.
