Morphed clip of Akshay Kumar speaking against Tanushree Dutta gets removed

The Me Too movement in India was sparked off after Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta's shocking confession that veteran actor Nana Patekar allegedly sexually harassed her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss in 2008. The text message, sent out late on Sunday, read, "Just wanted to inform that there's no press conference tomorrow".

The media was informed about the cancellation by Nana's son Malhar. "Will let you know about the further proceedings soon, regards". Followed by her interviews while she received a legal notice from Patekar and other accused, Dutta is said to have lodged a complaint at Oshiwara police station to file an FIR for the incident that happened a decade ago. In the early evening, Mr Patekar told assembled media, "My lawyer has asked me to not talk to any channel, have to listen to him".

Patekar has denied the allegations and had sent Dutta a legal notice to withdraw the claims and issue an apology.

In fact, choreographer Ganesh Acharya was also supposed to join the senior actor for the press conference but now looks like it has been cancelled. Mr Patekar is now filming Housefull 4 with actor Akshay Kumar, whose wife Twinkle Khanna and other celebrities have publicly supported Tanushree Dutta. She accuses Ganesh Acharya, director Rakesh Sarang and producer Samee Siddiqui of complicity. According to sources, Akshay's complaint states that the video was taken during a media interaction where he was asked about another actor but it was edited in a way that it appears as if he's speaking against Tanushree Dutta.

She also alleged in the interview that filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had behaved inappropriately towards her during the shooting of the 2005 movie "Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets".
