Nintendo's New Mobile Game Dragalia Lost Release Date Announced

Nintendo has already brought a number of its established franchises to mobile - Pokemon, Super Mario, Fire Emblem, and Animal Crossing, to be precise - but earlier this year, it announced its first original mobile game: Dragalia Lost.

While Nintendo was late to mobile gaming, they aren't slouching, and have delivered some fun experiences based on their popular characters/franchises. It's a free-to-play mobile title developed with Cygames, the studio responsible for mobile phone successes such as Granblue Fantasy and Rage of Bahamut.

Nintendo has also opened an English website for Dragalia Lost. Dragalia Lost will allow players to team up and transform into dragons to save the realm.

Beyond the UI, we also see some detailing of the character cards, screens of the main story campaign, and how in-game Tips will appear to help you along the journey (that is, if you need them). Along the way, players can discover more than 60 companions for their party that offer a variety of different weapon classes, combat abilities and elemental properties. Its all very intuitive and easy to pick up for any type of player.

Diamantium is purchasable using real-world money. Now we know when Nintendo is going to let us play it. Dragalia is a co-op action-RPG that will be released on September 27th for iOS and Android devices.
