Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has completed a move to West Ham United

In a video posted a video to his Instagram story showing Perez wearing a West Ham training kit inside the dressing room.

While Arnautovic had a decent return of goals last season, he did not have the best relationship with his manager.

The London club have brought in Manuel Pellegrini as manager and spent almost 100 million pounds ($128.87 million) to bolster the squad in the transfer window.

The Hammers found a unique way to announce the signing of Perez as they used their big screens at the London Stadium to unveil the player.

Perez scored seven times in 21 appearances for Arsenal, including a hat-trick in the Champions League away to Basel.

Speaking to West Ham's club website, the midfielder said: "I'm very happy to be here".

Football.London states a deal bringing the 32-year-old Colombia global to the London Stadium will be a loan agreement and will fight with Declan Rice and Pedro Obiang for a spot in defensive midfield - so first-team football will not be a guarantee.

West Ham have been working on a deal to sign former Aston Villa midfielder Sanchez from Fiorentina and are close to completing the transfer.

The 32-year-old defensive midfielder appears to be surplus to requirements at the Italian club, having spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Espanyol.

West Ham director of football Mario Husillos is confident Perez will prove another valuable addition.

"I'm very happy to be here at such an historic club", he said.

"He has great technical quality, and can play as both the main striker or the second striker in a deeper role".

"He has also been a regular in the first team for Colombia for many years, and was a very important player for them at the World Cup this summer".
