Derby County team news for Leeds United visit

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa refused to label his side as promotion contenders after the Yorkshire club maintained their fine start with a 4-1 thrashing of Frank Lampard's Derby on Saturday.

Former England global Lampard won his first game as manager 2-1 against _ thanks to a last-minute victor, but couldn't repeat the trick in his first home game in charge.

Leeds regained the lead through Roofe, the striker rising between two Derby defenders to loop a header beyond Carson from Alioski's left-wing cross after the home side had failed to clear their lines.

When Tom Lawrence's free-kick was badly misjudged by 21-year-old goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell the Rams were swiftly level, but Ezgjan Alioski's ideal left-wing cross was headed in by Kemar Roofe to restore the Leeds lead.

The 24-year-old scored six goals in 42 games last term and with two in two already in this campaign, he will be one to watch throughout Lampard's debut season in management.

"This is my first job as a manager, but I've worked closely with some of the best coaches in the game and I'm confident in my own abilities and those of the team around me, including the board", he told Derby's official website.

"More energy in them without the ball and with the ball. I'd rather people take a chance and try and play out in a positive manner than not so great lessons for us today".

But Bielsa isn't getting carried away and said: "We are very focused".

"In the first half, we were a little bit unstable, we had moments of instability so we can point out this aspect as one to correct".

Derby looked to rally with new recruit Martyn Waghorn looking a threat but Leeds continued to prove menacing and two more flowing attacks led by Hernandez threatened to bring United a third with Joe Ledley and Richard Keogh also booked for hacking down the unplayable Saiz. But what happened in the games so far does not mark a definite trend, it's too early to make conclusions.
