Samsung showed the Galaxy Note 9 to the announcement

Samsung has posted on YouTube a video dedicated to the flagship phablet Galaxy Note 9 a week before its official announcement. "The poor performance of the Galaxy S9 is also why Samsung is releasing the Galaxy Note 9 earlier than expected and the company has also confirmed that the flagship will be offered at reasonable prices in order to maximise sales". In the video, the emphasis seems to be on the S pen and the expandable storage that can potentially reach up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 also supports video playback of up to 25 hours. According to South Korean outlet, The Bell, Samsung is said to include a 3D camera on the purported Galaxy S10.

The Note 9 won't be the only new device that sees the light of day on 9th August, with Samsung preparing to debut the Galaxy Watch too. The Galaxy S8 devices are now receiving the software update with many bug fixes and the most important August security patches. The most interesting thing about the leak is the smartphone will be coming with 512GB variant. A recent photo leaked from Samsung's Russian retail store shows a retail box for upcoming Note 9 with spec sheet written on it. With the addition of a 512GB microSD card support, this potentially gives users up to 1TB in physical storage.

"As per the leaked image, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will sports a 6.4" QHD+ Super AMOLED display which will be slightly bigger then as compared to the Galaxy Note 8's 6.3" screen. We're expecting a 4000mAh battery inside of the Galaxy Note 9, up from the smaller 3300mAh battery which should provide the "powerful all-day battery" that Samsung is teasing. Likewise, the video didn't mention whether the Note 9 will come with 8GB RAM as rumors had previously indicated. Apart from various ports, it also shows a dual camera, flash and fingerprint sensor. The launch will be live-streamed with the event set to kick off at 4pm United Kingdom time. It is now unclear when the game will be released for other smartphones but Epic Games has already confirmed that the game won't be available through the Google Play Store.
