Stormy Daniels Arrested After Performing in Ohio Strip Show

- A.J. Delgado (@AJDelgado13) July 12, 2018Daniels, an adult-film star who allegedly had an affair with Trump, was arrested early Thursday morning at a strip club in Ohio.

According to the report, Daniels held the faces of a female and male officer between her breast when they approached the stage.

Avenatti posted on Twitter on Thursday morning that Daniels will plead not guilty to three misdemeanor charges.

"They are devoting law enforcement resources to sting operations for this?"

Mr Avenatti wrote: "This was a setup & politically motivated".

In what her lawyer dubbed a "politically motivated" set-up, Daniels was arrested without incident at the Sirens club in Columbus, Ohio after officers accused her of knowingly touching club patrons "in a specified anatomical area".

Court records show Daniels posted $6,054.00 in bail and was released. Daniels was charged with three misdemeanor sex offenses for touching undercover police officers during her routine, and her attorney had some...interesting insight into their, shall we say, "investigation" of his client.

Clifford is better known by her screen name Stormy Daniels.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels was arrested Thursday and charged with breaking a controversial and little-known OH state law called the Community Defense Act, which prohibits adult dancers from touching patrons and vice versa. Daniels allegedly made her way toward two detectives, leaned over and grabbed their faces.

Daniels is suing the president and his former longtime personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, and trying to invalidate a nondisclosure agreement she signed days before the 2016 presidential election.

Avenatti issued a statement on her behalf saying that as a result, her performance at the jiggle joint Thursday night would be canceled. Trump has said he personally reimbursed Cohen for that payment. Curry said she has never seen anyone get arrested in the 2 years she has worked at Sirens, nor has she had any experience with the law while on the job.

Daniels has been embroiled in a legal controversy with Trump over their alleged 2006 encounter, which he has repeatedly denied.

"This was a complete set up", he said.
