George, Charlotte and royal kids steal the show on Palace balcony

Kate took two out of three of the little royals to the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy at Beaufort Polo Club to raise funds for the Royal Marsden cancer hospital and Centrepoint, a homelessness charity.

Kate attending the event was a surprise, so fans were delighted when she joined the match with George and Charlotte, sitting with cousin-in-law Autumn Phillips, who brought her children as well.

Prince George - wearing a navy shirt, beige shorts and navy sneakers - played around with a polo mallet in the grass.

However, it looks as though the third-in-line to the throne also suffered a little tearful moment on the day. The pictures appear to show the boys pointing the guns at other members of the party.

But it was Princess Charlotte who really stole the show on the day, putting on a cheeky display for mum Catherine and the family's close friends, during the match.

Charlotte donned sunglasses and ran in bare feet, at one point attempting a head stand in front of her laughing mom. Just a day before, the family attendied the Trooping the Colour ceremony - so were likely happy to enjoy a more relaxed day out on the Sunday. Her youngest child, Louis, was nowhere to be seen, leaving many to assume that he was being cared for at home by the children's nanny Maria.

It was a busy weekend for the Cambridges this weekend as they had Trooping the Colour on Saturday. Several users dismissed the criticism, arguing they themselves had toy guns as kids, and that such play does not encourage violence.

George also spent a good portion of time playing with a giant rainbow-coloured slinky, and chasing his younger sister around.
