Siri Shortcuts might let the voice assistant finally play nice with Spotify

But this year, don't expect news about new gadgets.

It will be released to users during the second or third week of September, if Apple follows the pattern it has for the past few years.

iOS 12 will bring with it a new feature called Screen Time which will reveal just how much time tasks and specific apps are taking up.

Apple announced a whole slew of new features for iPhone iOS 12 and the Apple Watch OS 5 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on Monday.

Apple has wasted little time in adjusting its rules to allow Valve's Steam Link app to appear on the App Store.

With proper integrations the feature would launch the app in the background so you could keep your phone in your pocket while the tunes automatically started playing. That way, whenever you activate your iPhone's screen to see what time it is, it won't show you all of the notifications that end up distracting you when you should be sleeping.

Also, parents can monitor their children's usage. Once you cross this threshold, iOS 12 will prevent you from launching this app, though you can always ignore this limit. Now, we have come to know that Siri on iOS 12 will play nice with other media apps like Spotify and more. People who are sent photos on iOS 12 will then be prompted to send their own photos from the same event.

With this improvement coming to millions of devices it certainly looks set to make older iPhones more user-friendly but Apple is also trying to make sure its customers are aware of just how long they are spending on their devices. The company made an announcement about the next iOS 12 software, which comes with a tool that will help users beat technology addiction and which will also see an improved performance. Well, in iOS 12 beta, your pair of AirPods will be recognized as earphones that can work with Live Listen. However, if you're not registered as an Apple developer, you will not be able to use it.

The Stock app is getting a major upgrade and now lets users tap on certain stocks to get detailed information.
