Pine - whose character Steve Trevor appeared to (spoiler alert!) have died while performing a heroic act in the 2017 superhero hit - has been spotted around Washington, DC, where director Patty Jenkins is filming the follow-up. The first film was set in 1917, during World War I. Rumours had surfaced previous year that the new movie will be set somewhere in the Cold War. Of course, the major event was the Cold War that took place between the United States and Russian Federation, which will definitely have a big part to play in the film. The new logo also makes us wonder if the title of the movie will be Wonder Woman 84 or Wonder Woman 1984.

Wonder Woman 2 will be iconic in many senses. Her remuneration for the sequel has increased to $9 million from $1 million for the first film, as per a report by Variety. It is not clear yet what version of Cheetah would Kristen Wiig will play. Narcos and Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal is among the new entrants to the franchise.
