Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Friday expressed his support for U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to cancel the planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.

Earlier in the day, speaking at an annual economic forum, Putin sharply criticized Trump's decision to pull out of the Iranian nuclear deal, saying it could trigger unsafe instability.

"But we can not make preserving the Iranian nuclear deal dependent on these three parameters because if we do, it means that we too are withdrawing from the accord because the deal that exists foresees no additional conditions".

Abe also said it is necessary to make a US -N.

Putin said he was all for Spanish integrity.

"It would be completely normal if Macron develops a better relationship with Putin than with Trump, who are two completely different characters".

Putin's future, however, remains an open question.

Putin also criticized sanctions levied against his country - put in place for the Russian annexation of Crimea and meddling in the US election.

Well, France remains the leading foreign investor in Russian Federation. Macron responded on a serious note that France and its allies could stand for themselves.

Noting that Russian Federation increased export of engineering products to the Chinese market previous year, Mr. Putin hailed the diversification and improvement in the trade structure as "encouraging".

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also spoke at the forum and called for closer cooperation with Russian Federation.

In a later meeting with top editors of global news agencies, Putin said he would observe constitutional term limits that would prevent him from running for a new term in 2024.
