The WWE Backlash 2018 will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Tonight's Backlash features nine matches from both Raw and SmackDown Live.

AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura went to a double count-out in their No Disqualification match for the WWE Championship at Backlash.

WWE sent out the following names as the two professional wrestlers to join In the WWE backlash preview show come Sunday.

The Backlash Kickoff will air on the WWE Network starting an hour before the pay-per-view at 7/6c.

After Nakamura delivered a low blow at one point, AJ countered with a low blow of his own.

The two were chose to lock horns on WWE Backlash 2018 before the Greatest Royal Rumble event, and Samoa Joe will try to showcase the Big Dog as a failure once more. Seth Rollins defends his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz, which is an odd match-up because Miz is on SmackDown Live now, meaning a win for him is nearly impossible, unless he wins and is transferred back to Raw.

WWE Backlash 2018 will take place on Monday, May 7.

Roman Reigns faces Big Cass, Roman Reigns versus Samoa Joe and SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella against Charlotte Flair are also on the card.
