Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp - Official Trailer

Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp - Official Trailer

You didn't really think Marvel Studios was going to give you any time to catch your breath after this weekend's epic Avengers: Infinity War, did you?

Starring Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp, as well as Michael Douglas, Michael Pena, and Michelle Pfieffer, Ant-Man And The Wasp arrives in United Kingdom cinemas on 3 August.

There's a new villain in town when "Ant-Man and the Wasp" lands in theaters this summer and we've got the new trailer...
... The first film in the franchise also starred Paul Rudd and was directed by Peyton Reed, who returned to direct the sequel for Marvel. It probably won't happen in Ant-Man and the Wasp but perhaps Goliath will receive a true introduction in the next Avengers film. Are you excited for the upcoming Marvel movie? To complicate matters, Hope van Dyne/Wasp (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) arrive with a new mission and a new baddie: Pym's stolen tech Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen).

The trailer opens with little Cassie Lang (Abby Ryder Fortson) asking her dad Scott (Paul Rudd) when he started being Ant-Man again. The way that directors Anthony and Joe Russo along with screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely managed to bring all of these larger-than-life characters from separate films together so cohesively and in such an entertaining manner is something to be praised. There's plenty of outlandish action involving both Ant-Man and Giant-Man (Lang's other, somewhat taller, identity), while Lilly's Wasp looks like she will be a great foil to Lang. "For me, as a comic nerd, I have always thought of Ant-Man and Wasp as a team", he said. You may even get to see her Wasp, albeit very briefly, in this trailer.

Nevertheless, the presence of Bill Foster in the MCU means we could see a younger version of him later on.

The film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, who unfortunately does not appear in the video but popped up on the newly-released poster (below), Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip "T.I".
